Founding attorney
Miriam Castellan
Handles injury and employment matters, and is the attorney responsible for the firm.
Biography
Miriam Castellan has represented injured people and employees in central Ohio for more than twenty years. She began her career at a firm that defended insurance companies, which taught her how claims are valued from the other side of the table. She left to represent the people making them.
She co-founded the firm in 2009 with Daniel Okoro. Her practice today is divided between injury claims, most of them arising from crashes on central Ohio's highways, and disputes between employees and employers over pay, discrimination and dismissal.
Clients describe her as direct. She will tell you at the first meeting what she thinks your claim is worth pursuing for, what could go wrong, and how long it is likely to take.
Miriam grew up in Mansfield and has lived in Clintonville since law school. She serves on the board of a neighborhood legal aid clinic and coaches a youth soccer team with more enthusiasm than success.
