Founding attorney
Daniel Okoro
Defends people charged with crimes and represents parents and spouses in family court.
Biography
Daniel Okoro spent the first four years of his career as an assistant public defender in Franklin County, where he handled hundreds of cases from arraignment through trial. He learned there that most people charged with a crime are frightened, and that the first thing they need is someone to explain what is going to happen next.
He co-founded the firm in 2009. His practice now covers criminal defense, from traffic and OVI charges to felonies, and family law, where he represents parents and spouses in divorce, custody and support matters.
The two areas have more in common than they seem. In both, the client is living through one of the hardest stretches of their life while the case is pending, and steady communication matters as much as legal skill.
Daniel lives in Westerville with his wife and two daughters. He is a regular volunteer at the Franklin County self-help center.
